Hello all...can anyone tell me where the DPFE Sensor is located on a 92 F150 4x4? The truck throws the code for the EGR, but what I am reading is that they rarely go bad and that it is the DPFE Sensor. Plus, I am told you can clean the EGR...thanks for any info!

Sorry people...I posted this in the wrong thread. My mistake...

 

I dont know for sure on yours but on my 97 its just left of the EGR when standing in front of the truck looking at the engine. Its aluminum and square shaped with two hose connections looking straight down on the left side of it and a electrical plug looking towards the front of the truck on the right side of it. The new one from Auto Zone is plastic and about 60.00 dollars.
