2000 Supercab Lariat The drivers side rear half door won't open. The bottom hook seems to release but the top hook doesn't. How do I get the door panel off and what should I look for?

Remove the two screws holding the window latch. Pull the window surround panel off. This should reveal two screws and one nut on the upper door panel. remove them. There should be a pin retainer about halfway up the panel. Remove it. Lift up on the door trim and remove it. Backwards to install.
