does anyone know the maximum mounting depth of the front speaker location in the doors. my truck is 2001. i know the replacement speakers are from 2" to 3" but im not wanting replacements if i can help it.

 

i think crutchfield.com has the specs. not sure though.

 

yeah i thought they did too. i couldnt find it so i email them. they said to look at their replacements and it would say if it fit. guess they got smart and realized that guys like me use them and go somewhere else cheaper.ha
