Hey guys, im 17, not too well seasoned in automotive know how trying to learn new things. Well my truck has 310k on the original everything besides tires and brakes. I cant really tell if the noise is coming from all doors or just the passanger door but it does have a very annoying subtle rattle on the road, when im off road... oh lord😂 but the door swings and latches fine so ive ruled out a sagging door, ive heard of replacing the bumpstops. I cant find them online and havent looked locally. If yall have had this issue and solved it, would you reccomend oversized stops or just oem replacements? Id greatly appreciate it!

 

These truck will sometimes rattle where the power door actuator is mounted to the door. I'd pull the passenger door panel and check there. I've seen this a few times. It is only with power door locks, You haven't really said what your truck model is, so i gave you one scenario.

 

My truck is an 03 f150 xlt 4 door. Ill really have to check it out, thanks in advance if it works tomorrow!

 

x2. Pull the panels and start snooping around. You'll find it eventually. They're easy to get off.

check the headrest's too. My passenger would rattle and I thought it was the door for awhile.

Dude, they are some noises suckers aren't they?? That and the passenger seat itself is kinda rattle internally. My truck would be a super quiet ride on bumps without the seats

My truck is quiet also. No door wind whistle either. I'm quite happy with the quietness. That is until I jump on it and the exhaust is a louder mellow tone. lol
