For those that have removed them, and obviously from what i can see from pictures, there shouldnt be anything behind the molding right? i was prying back the molding on my driver rear door and saw what appeared to be a black piece of plastic somewhat recessed into the metal. i imagine this door may have had some kind of bodywork and they conveniently covered up the work with the factory molding. anyone ever run into something like this while removing the molding?
