I have a 97 and the pass door lock and window have stopped working.
I pulled the door panel off to have a look and it seams like you cannot remove the door lock actuator or the window motor?


Is there a common reason for these to stop working?

They both go bad, and can be replaced, same with the switches look at the contacts for dark durned spots.


Door Lock actuator- needs to be pried out with a long standard screwdriver


Window motor w/track - You will need to drill out the rivets to remove, and then re-rivet the replacement.

 

check with a volt meter to see if they are getting power.
