Ok so i just got back from vacation and am trying to finish my viper 5704 install, everything is done except for the door lock, the unlock works i wired the unlock wire from the viper to the pink/green of the truck and that works great.

My problem is with the lock wire on the truck, the doors will only lock if the viper wire and the truck wire are tapped together then released, if they are connected such as when i spliced them together nothing happens when i press the lock button on the viper remote.

Its like the connection is grounded out, but if i just tap them together it completes the circuit.

Anyone whoes installed an alarm on there truck what did you do for that lock wire???
