Default Door lock

Hey folks!

So I just got my truck broken into. And they broke my door lock. So now it's just chilling, pushed into the hole. I can get it to open the door, by jimmying it and turning it, but that seems like an unnecessary security risk. If you've done this before, please help me out!

Thanks in advance!!

Haven't done it on these trucks before, but there's usually a C-clip on the inside that holds the lock cylinder into the handle assembly. Is that what you're talking about?

That's actually not the problem. I just opened it up and these douchers broke the metal that "houses" it. I found someone that'll fix it for $50. Thanks anyway guys!

Scratch what I said earlier. The lock cylinder works, but the clips that it pops into in the door handle are busted, so if you know how, or even if it's possible, to remove the old cylinder and pop it into the new handle. That'd be great!
