This seems like it has been covered, and if it has I apologize. I seem to have a problem with a door ajar switch, but it seems to be the opposite of everyone else's. Everything works fine opening the passenger door, but nothing with the drivers door. No interior or bed lights come on, etc. I have had Fords before, even a 97 Sable (hangs head in shame) but it has been my experience that when the door ajar switch diesn't work in Fords, the interior lights stay on, unlike alot of other vehicles where they don't come on. Any ideas or help? Jimm

 

I would try the methods used for fixing/cleaning the switch that is normally used for when the lights stay on just to eliminate that. I mean it's worth a shot.
