Default door ajar

Hey guys i'm new here on the site and i'm looking for alittle info. I have a 02 f150 crew cab and last night the door ajar light stayed on in my truck which kept my dome lights on. I check all the doors and none were open. now this morning its working normal. Does anyone no what could be up with this? A switch or something? Any info would be great!!

Idk what the correct fix is but I took the driverside door sensor out of the door an it fixed it and the dome light still comes on when I open my door but shuts off right away when I shut it

I was told on a different site that the door mechanisms are known to stick and to spray them with wd40 on they will losen up and work. I tried it last night and it fixed my problem. It was in passenger door that was stuck. I how this will work for you guys.

Did you guys take the door panel off or just spray the rod that slides in and out the slot in the body?
