I’ve noticed a new issue you can say on my truck. When I open the driver door, as usual the interior light and 3rd brake light come on. As soon as I hit the unlock button, they all go off. If I hit the lock button, they come back on. You can hear a click when going on or off in those scenarios. Only happens with the driver door so far. Any insights on what to look for?

 

Broken wires in the door wiring accordion?
I'd check the door ajar pids with a NGS
You can lube the door latches with WD40 and that sometimes makes the door ajar switches work again
You have a short somewhere IMO
