I know there's a thread on programmers/tuners, but specifically, does anyone have a superchips installed on a 2003 Supercrew 4.6L V8 2wd? There quiet expensive and I don't want to get jipped. Or any programmer installed on this model.

Thank, B

I have an edge programmer on my 2001 SuperCrew 5.4L. It works great and I love it.

I have a Superchips Micro Max on my 03 Screw 4X4 with a 5.4 and it does what I wanted it to do. With that being said, I would not be happy if I had paid the full price. I was looking for a tuner to firm up my shifts and be able to change my speedo for larger tires. The surprise came with the better fuel milage and smoother idle. Now it isn't anything spectacular but I only paid $209 delivered. Bought it on clearance from Mustangs Unlimited last year.

Havent looked into tuners for the ford. But i did have a superchips for my 03 hemi ram and it did wonders for it. I have had bad experience with hypertech with my previous(99 ram) truck. So if i was to purchase a tuner for the ford i would lean toward superchips.

I always wanted to get a Superchip programmer form my Mustang or my truck. But with the edge it mounts on the dash so while you going down the road you can look and check on just about everything the computer reads from the engine.
