Hi, I have a97 f150 that was kind of misfiring for a week or 2 almost sounding like it needed a tune up it sputtered some times, anyway 1 day it just died as i was goin down a road like if the gas was goin in no misfire nothin i stopped try to start it it started once didnt hold any idle at all and it died again within 15 sec iwas perplexed i proceeded to takr off the spark plugs to check and replace if necessary it was they were shot for some reason icouldnt acheive a spark since that day i tryed replacing the electrical modular( distributor) still no spark someone i thought might have known something proceeded to change the cam and crank sensor then said the computer was fryed and got a used 1 from the junk yard then he said it could only b the body modular tryed that he said he got it runnin for 5 minutes then it died no spark he thinks its in the wiring harness i am very depressed cuz im a small bus owner and this is my only co truck does anybody know does this sound familiar im desperate help if u can

 

Need to know what engine? You said distributor module, assuming the EEV-IV on side of distributor, don't forget the magnetic pick up inside the dist.
