Do you loose your tow hooks when installing a brush guard.

Take pictures of your mounting brackets. My hooks are OEM and fit. I would assume you could put smaller hooks on but that makes the capacity less... wouldn't trust the smaller hooks if you need to pull the truck

What brand is your guard. Mine is Go Rhino. It is put together different than yours. My main vertical piece of the guard is on the inside of the mounts. Yours is on the outside?
I just took this thing off one truck and put back on another. The upper brackets do not line up the same. The donor truck was a 99 F150 4X4. Should be the same I would think.
Maybe I should try to find some install instructions to make sure this is even put together right.
Not sure how good these are. It's nightime and I was standing on my head,,,lol.

I sure wished I would have took pics when I took this off,,,lol. No big deal really. I just have the upper bracket that bolts to the bumper area backwards. But that won't help my tow hook problem.
I think this is put together wrong. I think the vertical main runner should go on the outside of the frame brackets, like in your pics. I think it might work then. I may need to use a button head screw too. Will know tomorrow.

Now an XLT in Colorado
For reference, when I bought my '03, it had a brush guard, and the tow hooks worked with it.
Now, I have seen that many/most bull bars require removing the hooks. I'm not sure why the difference, though.
EDIT: Ah HA! I just noticed you said (and saw in the pics) that the verticals of your guard set to the *inside* of the frame rails (just like a bull bar). On 2100's, and the one I had, they set to the *outside*. Yep, not surprised you lose the hooks with that one. But post a pic of your hooks. Maybe they're different than the ones on the '99(?).
