Default Distributer cap

My 97 v6 5 speed is lacking power. When i puch the pedal to the floor it doesnt get up and go. i put new plugs in about 5,000 miles ago,it know has 188,xxx. i put bwd plug wires on about 30 miles ago. I used an ohm meter and im getting 13.6 as a secondary resistance on my coils. is my coil still good or not. I believe it might be original.

The coil resitance should be Primary 0.3-1.0 Ohms, Secondary 8.0-11.5K Ohms. Try cleaning the MAF with MAF cleaner.

Ok i will try that. Is there a reason why my resistance is higher than it should be. I am almost positive it might be the original coil.
