Like a shock dust cover rattling. BUT I checked them all. Not rattling. It sounded like the front end so i took tge wheels off thsts when I discovered the loose caliper. I dont think its my exhaust system. It could be though. Its a metal on metal rattle.

Does it rattle if you have your foot lightly on the brake while driving?

My truck makes all kinds of rattles when driving that stop when I put my foot on the brake. Never have gotten around to figuring out what it is yet, but figured it is something to do with brakes.

Still rattles. But when I push hard on the brakes like a panic stop I get a vibrating feeling in the truck but not on the sterting wheel like a warped rotor.

A lot of vehicles have anti rattle clips on the brake pads. Sometimes they fall off and they. .... rattle of course. Might look into that.

Replace the pads and all the shims. The caliper itself is supposed to move.. Looks like the pad spreader is missing..
