Dip stick tube rusted in half.
My 99 4.2ls dipstick tube is rusted in half right by the exhaust manifold, how does a guy go about removing this ? Is it just pressed in the block ? Should I remove it or just slap some hose clamps and a hose around it and call it good.

If it was my truck, I would remove it and replace with new. Can't be that expensive although it might a PIA to do so.

My current one has a hose and hose clamps on it. I just haven't changed it with the dorman I have on a shelf that cost me like $12
