Ummmm just a shot in the dark but I'd just start troubleshooting. I'd put a multimeter to the light socket itself. If that checks up with good voltage and everything than I'd check the connection between the factory socket and the bulb. Heck I'd even check the bulb to make sure that bulb isn't just a dud.

Agree with the dude above me--it could be the bulb housing contacts got fried.

Sounds like it's getting intermittent voltage meaning the contacts are bad somewhere in the system.

I bet you can get the light to turn on and off by banging on it, am I right?

there were no other mods done at the time i put these in, they worked for a while but then i broke the clip, they still worked but after a week or so the passenger side quit working, i thought it was due to breaking part of the clip.

i did figure it out friday after work, got to looking around all the wires, and found that the ground wire for the passenger light was slightly broken, but was still making some contact, i cut it, and re spliced it back together and worked good as new. so just wasnt getting a good ground. thanks for all the suggestions guys!
