why do you want to change injector designs? the two that are pictured are of the same flow rate, 19lb.

The type 3 injectors have the four way spary pattern disc..Bosch Design III 19 lb 19lb/hr MPI (multi-port injectors) injectors. 204cc @ 3 bar. These injectors have a disc-type four-hole fuel delivery system in comparison to the single pintle of the Design II's for a more efficient fuel-atomization. This results in a more efficient power delivery and better mileage...but im just wanting some advice form someone whos done this swap and tell me if its worth it...

You may see a little bit of gas mileage but as far as mpg maybeeeee .5 or 1 mpg. BUT changing fuel filter and boosting the fuel peasure will get you about the same bang for alot less buck.

im not really looking for better gas mileage just a lil more pep..and thats a good idea but how would i go about boosting up my fuel pressure..would i have to buy something or is it something i could just manually adjust..

An adustable fuel preasure regulator. Jegs has them for like 110.oo but you can get them cheaper. What are you looking to get out of the truck, I have a 98 also.

well im not too sure what a stock ***** 4.6 comes with but i would be extremely happy with 320-350 hp...and its a nascar editon truck witch comes with 3.73 gears in the diff. so what does a stock 4.6 come with..it does have a 3 inch exhaust all the way from the stock headers...what do you suggest?

so would adding more fuel make it run rich? im guessing a cai would fix that problem if it is a problem as it can get more air...oh and is my truck a 2, 3, or 4 valve...? sorry for all the questions...

Depending on how high that you run the preasure will affect the air fuel ratio. The CAI will help out some but with your 300 plus goals I would suggest going with a charger. It would get it there alot faster. And as far as the exhaust it may be costing you power unless you have forced induction 3 in. pipie is just a little bit of over kill. These trucks really like to scavange. And it is a 2 valve.
