Default Defective Headlights?

Was washing the truck today and noticed that some soap gets in the headlights, but only on top. It seems a seal stops it from going in further. Just wanted to know if that was normal with these headlights.

Its normal. My dad owns a 2011 F150 and it does the same thing with the 3rd brake light. Its nothing to worry about.

I really wouldn't do that unless it was necessary, you might end up in worse shape. Not trying to be a d*ck, but i really don't think it would be necessary.

Mine did that before, then they started getting a lot of condensation in them before my retro. And after my retro I didn't seal them up right so they got a ton of water in them next time it rained, but after some silicon it's about fixed, small leak now but its about fixed. Just run a bead of RTV across the seam and you'll be good

Yeah I think I'm going to do that just to be safe.
