Hey guys, so right now amazon has Monroe and Gabriel struts for over 50% off and in addition both manufacturers have up to $120 rebate as well so the potential savings is quite substantial. Update it looks like the rebate is manufacturer so it doesnt have to be from amazon. Now, I have never replaced struts so I'm not sure which model from either manufacturer I would need. I'm hoping someone could recommend the easiest and best fit for our MO's and get a great deal for themselves as well. BTW I'm not racing the MO so just the best handling/ride is what I'm looking for. 97-03 trucks do not have struts-only shocks and springs (torsions for 4x4)

Well I vote myself for the bonehead award. Good point on the shocks, I'm so used to struts I forget that these guys use good old shocks. However the discount still applies to shocks I believe.
