Default Dash swap from 99+ to 98

have a 98 single cab, the dash is shot. After pricing I'm thinking it would be cheaper to just buy a whole new dash vs trying to piece together the pieces that are broken

what year dashes can swap into my setup? Can they come from an expedition? Any mods needed?

thanks guys

All universal. However things like cup holders and top surfboards with some of the options won't work. What color is your dash?

It's tan, but I'm going for grey/black. 60% of my plastics need replaced so I'll do a little at a time

User Bathtub has an all black interior for sale. Not sure if it's listed yet. Out of a Heritage model I believe. In Wisconsin, to far away or I'd be interested. Those interiors are a hard find.

Join the club buddy! Mine is shot too. I did a half *** hydro-dip on some stuff for now. After the brakes and exterior paint I'll move to the interior. Dash looks like a PIA to pull out.

If you're doing anything with the seats, I'll probably have a black standalone console for these trucks. I'm about to do a... questionable job that holds no benefit besides the coolness factor.

Yep. Gonna try and wire up a factory nav system...

Same here, Jbrew. Even farther for me, though. Even if it was close enough, I don't know if I'd want to tear out the dash just for color change. And black carpet here in the mountains? On the other hand, it sure would look sweet in my DSG truck.

I'm not sure where you are, but I'll most likely start parting out my grey-interior '99 in the spring. I'm in Colorado. PM me if you think you might be interested.

EDIT: I just saw your pics thread. You don't want a gray interior in that truck. Black? Sure. But gray? No way.

Imma have to ask him about a certain part then... see if he has the dash "bubble".
