Default Dash, radio bezel, paint chipping need advice?

The dash, radio bezel paint was chipping in my 99 f150 so last sunday i took it all off and painted it with interior spray can paint from autozone.By Wednesday the paint starting chipping again so im guessing i did something wrong. So instead of painting it again i was thinking about wrapping it with cloth camo wrap (its actually the replacable carpet they sell) the sell at walmart but now i dont know if itll look so good. Has anybody done this? Or does anybody have any other ideas of how i can fix this issue???

why care about painting the dash? Instead I'd get that code read and turn off the service engine soon light. Just my .02 cents..

mines peeling also doesn't bug me too much. It seems common.

you don't want to put cloth over the panels, I'm not sure you could even get it to stick, and it would surely mess with the fitment of the panels them selves

Ya but your truck is used and abused with high miles. It's to be expected.

Maybe his isn't and he wants a good looking dash?

take it off, strip them, use a self etching plastic primer, sand any rough spots, paint it again, then clear coat it. **** will never peal again.
