Default Dash lights

I need help solving why some of my dash lights aren't working. The ones I'm having trouble with are the lights behind the AC controls. I recently replaced my stock stereo/head unit but did not remove the AC controls to do so. Also I THINK the lights were still working immediately after I changed the head unit. I noticed them not working a couple days later. I've checked the fuses but it looks like all dash illumination is on the same fuse, and if so that fuse is good. I also felt around some of the cables behind the controls to see if anything was loose and there didn't seem to be.

Any thoughts?
Thanks

Bet you didn't hookup the right wire, my radio comes on with my lights (dims with lights, but that's different) and when I look and unlock my truck, the radio comes on for a short period of time. Check that wire.

I hear a lot of dash illumination issues whenever an aftermarket radio is put in these things. I'd take dopewaffle's advice and start there.
