Default Dark headlights

Bought these headlights off eBay thinking that they weren't tinted but they are actually very tinted. Does anybody know a good way to lessen the tent on the plastic cause I like the look of the lights and would like to keep them...

They will lighten up a little being out in the sun but not much. If they were the one piece heads and corners id say I would trade you. I have a set of the one piece projectors with halos in a chrome housing and a light tint to them. The only other option would be to get HIDs. If you do, don't get the 35w, terrible light output. Spend the extra money and get the 55w ones, much better.

The only way to "lighten" then would to be take acetone and simply wipe the tint off. There's really not a way to gradually take it off and if there was it'd be so uneven.. so really the only thing to do is get HIDs
