Cutting cats off

Default Cutting cats off

As gonna cut the front cats off my 97 4.6 already have rear 2 cut off. Should I gut them or cut off and weld sensors back into the pipe? Thanx

Have you checked with local laws ? In some places it's illegal to remove your cats . You might want to gut or go high flow cat

I think leave em or get high flows... I mean yeah a track rig or off road rig, fine... Other than that, its just plain stupid to laugh in the face of the green movement... Its here to stay and the more commonly our breed, we the truck hobbyists start doing stuff like this, the quicker we are gonna be in for a fight....

I love loud pipes and chuggin fuel and diesels blowin black smoke but
....Let's not abuse our hobby...

Yea I cut the last two off taday so no more cats. Didn't throw any codes and mpg's r the same, just now the loudest truck in town
