Custom unit bearing?
So I was reading all these threads about guys complaining about our 5x135mm bolt pattern and got to thinking, why hasn't a company built custom unit bearings to convert the bolt pattern of any truck with unit bearings!?
And then the person could install a matching rear axle.
For example...you could bolt on one of these custom unit bearings in a 6x135mm (04-13 f150) bolt pattern and rotor and then swap in the same axle shafts from 04-13 f150 9.75 rear diff with rotors and have that bolt pattern.
Or a custom unit bearing with the 8x170 mm super duty bolt pattern and then the whole rear 10.5 sterling rear axle!
Not only would you have an "8 lug" f150 but a rear axle that's very strong and has tons of aftermarket support!
Both of these bolt patterns are some of the most common and easy to find nice new or used wheels for.
I can't be the only one who has thought of this! Lol
Let me know your thoughts on this guys!

There's called wheel spacers lol. Much cheaper than a custom unit bearing for one generation of f150, but you can always redrill the unit bearing and axle shafts to match. Not many people are actually modding(Real mods are not light bars, steps, fender flares, etc.) these trucks but this will pick up more and more as they get older. Like the older generations do
I knew some kid would chime in with a stupid wheels spacer comment.
If some one would build these unit bearings it would be a permanent, bolt pattern change!
Not a potentially dangerous patch job like a spacer!
Not to mention the load carrying capabilities of an upgraded axle and suspension, if a guy chose to go that route.
I would like to go 8x170mm because I have a rear axle already, but 6 x135mm would be just as good!

Do you honestly think I don't know what a wheel spacer is?
