I have a 1997 f150 with a 4.6v-8, 4x4 and everything in it. I know its the smallest v-8, i have the intake and exhaust, is there anything i can do to boost the performance without breaking the bank? also, how can i figure out what the towing capabilities are, i dont have a towing package on it, but the truck, didnt have a manual when i bought it. Any help is appreciated. thanks....

 

a chip would be the next step and you can call the ford place and give them you vin and they can tell you if i had the towing pakage on it.
