Default Cruise control not working

Hello all, any help would be appreciated. Just got an '02 f150 with the 5.4, and the cruise control and horn are not working. I replaced the clock spring with no results. I called Ford and gave them my vin, they said there is no recalls for my truck, but I see the fuseable link with blue recall tag installed. I did the diagnostics with the ignition on & got lights for only off and on, nothing for any of the 3 buttons on the right (set, accel, decel). I removed the fuseable link and tried it again, and the cruise light lit up for each of the buttons, which means the buttons are working. CC still won't work though. I have not tried replacing the brake switch as I believe it was replaced when fuseable link installed. On the fuseable link it says something "if this link fails, install kit #????. Do I need to do this? Am I to that point? At a loss. Also, the horn doesn't work. I have power to the relay as I can hear it when I press the horn, but no juice to the horn itself. Am I lacking a ground somewhere? Where/what else can I test? Do I go ahead and replace the brake switch anyway? Thank you.

Did you check the plastic cruise control cable connector on the throttle body? They get brittle and break on occasion.

cable connector is good. Forgot to mention I have no LED lights installed so can't be that. I pulled the fuseable link and plugged the original plug into the brake switch, all lights fine with diagnostic test but no cruise. I put the fuseable link back in and I get 2 flashes at the end, showing a problem. Link tests fine on meter but getting rid of it. Think I'll go ahead and pay the $ to replace the brake switch and hope that's it.

Just went to the dealer and he gave me a new fuseable link, one with 2 fuses in it. Installed it and still no cc. Went and picked up a brake switch and put it in, will try it after work with fingers crossed.

Cruise control fixed! Goes to show just since a dealership has installed the fuseable link doesn't mean they replaced the faulty brake switch! On another note, turns out both factory horns were shot, replaced them with a cheapo from auto parts store and it works! Definitely odd that both the cc and horn didn't work and it wasn't the clock spring!
