i have a 5.4L 97 flareside ext cab. yesterday i thought i would relax while on the freeway and use my cruise control. well, it didn't work. no light on the dashboard, no response from any of the controllers on the steering wheel. any suggesstions on where to start looking to troubleshoot/fix? thanks in advance.

 

Cruise control recall been done on it??? Usually it is a failing switch on the brake res. Or clock spring... does your horn work? Mine was a bad servo.

 

i went to the dealership to inquire about the leaf spring recall several months ago and they did a vin check and told me that all recalls have been done. i wan't aware of any recalls. as for the horn, i'll check. when i purchased the truck i did notice that i had to press pretty hard for the horn to engage. thanks
