I have an 02 Screw with the 5.4 and sometimes the cruise control kicks off while running down the road. It will not re-engage for a while and then it works again. Relay going bad? Something getting hot and it resets when cooled off? Any help will do.

I am also wanting to get custom fitted seat covers for the front and back. suggestions?

 

Either call your local dealer & give them your VIN or take your truck in so they can check the VIN because there was a recall on many of the trucks that had cruise control. The dealer will be able to tell you if your truck has had the recall completed or not. I have the same truck (02 Super Crew) & mine is affected by the recall. I haven't had the recall accomplished on my truck, but it isn't giving me any trouble either. Dealer told me it was a good idea to get it done anyway though, just in case something were to happen later down the road. Good luck to ya! Hope that this helps!

 

By the way, the Service Mgr at the local dealer near me said that when they get the parts in for your truck, you should be in & out within less than about 30 mins!
