Replacing my starter and cleaning up connections i put the positive terminal to the north connection on the starter relay by mistake. The starter smoked like hell until i shut it off. Other than frying the starter could anymore damage be done to any other components.

 

Probably just the starter. You probably have burned out the solenoid winding.
