Default crankshaft position sensor help

So I have an 03 scab with the 5.4 and it keeps going threw crankshaft position sensors. I've been threw 5 in the last month. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

The truck has longtube headers with no cats and custom tunes from Mpt. I have no idea if the tune could be causing this or what. So far I'm going to change it back to stock and see what happens after changing the sensor again.

Bwd is a pretty good sensor. just making sure it wasn't autozones valuecrap or duralast till the next paycheck. Is the wiring connector clean and all the wires and terminals good? Is there anything that happened before the first one went out or anything.

Everything looks to be in good working order and no nothing out of the ordinary happened the first time or another time. And yea I get a pretty good discount so the price isn't that bad, I just don't want to constantly spend $15 on a sensor and change it every week.

Um a short to ground would cause the sensor to not read and it could be goin away once u move the wires when replacing sensors. But also could be a rash of bad sensors
