Well see that's the thing is that tire has been going low on me for a while now but I could never find a leak so there must have been a small hair line crack in the rim I'm thinking

Clean the wheel and lay both pieces on the face. Take some pics of the inside of the wheel where it broke in 2 pieces

I had something like this happen but the wheel did not come into 2 piece it just busted the crap out of it about half way around it. It was my top brake caliper bracket bolt came out and it laid out and hit the wheel. But I have seen the bottom ones come out and let the bottom part of the bracket rub wheels. It will put a nice groove in them. And I could see that making it weak. When the bottom bolt come out it will really only give u trouble in reverse. It can catch and lock that wheel up like the brake is holding. I dunno it's just a theory of how it could have happened? Post pics if u can?

Is that a replica FX4 wheel or an original. I've seen a few race cars split their wheels but not a slow truck.

The grill's weren't honeycomb until 2001 I think. This is what they looked like before that.

Nah they were honeycomb in 99 97 and 98 had different front end slightly but u just have a basic work Style grill is what I call em. Mostly in the xl version trucks.

Yeah. But he had fx4 wheels and in his profile pic it looks like it had a honeycomb.

They are OEM rims, I just checked, but my truck isn't a true FX4 I just prefer the decals better, but it is a XLT XTR but whom ever bought the truck new had it ordered with the FX4 rims just to clear things up
