Default Couple of questions

Hey guys I have been lurking around here for a little but but finally decided to post a question I have. I have 2 questions about my 2002 f150 supercrew 5.4L.

First is when you turn the key there is a clunk noise that sounds like its under my feet. It does it about 2 seconds after you turn the key whether you start it or not.

The next question is when I start the truck it idols around 1200 then after a few seconds it drops down to around 800. When I put it form park to drive the truck kinda jumps into gear. With my foot on the break it jumps forward just a tiny bit.

Any help would be great.

i have an 01 that does that same thing. i think the clunk is the computer booting up. the change in rpms is the fast idle going into normal idle. sounds like normal operation to me.

i thought that was normal, i get a little clunk when i put the key in and turn it and usually when i start my truck whether is with my remote start or by the key it runs a little harder for a couple minutes but after it sits the engine gets quiet. dont think you have a problem
