I was looking under my truck to see if there was a manual switch that could be used to engage the 4wheel drive. I looked around and found this some sort of lever. I could bearly move it but I'm not sure what it coulud be for. Here are some pics i took. Does anyone know what it's for?

 

If that's on the differential it is probably for the 4-wheel drive I'm not sure though without another picture of it..I unfortunately work as a GM Tech right now, and I haven't played around with my own F150 to tell you otherwise I'm not sure on the Ford set up for the front trans-axle if that is in fact for the 4-wheel drive...

maybe a side picture would help but I'll look tommorrow on the Dealer data and I'll be able to tell you more matter of factly about it
