Default Correct Radiator for 2001 F150 5.4 SuperCrew

Hi! Looks like I need to put a new radiator in my truck. Looks to be leaking at the top of the tank on the passenger side. This has the automatic, is 2WD, and may have a towing package (bought the truck used, and it now has nearly 340K on it,,,it does have a receiver for a trailer). I see several on Rock Auto, but I think I should get something with heavy duty cooling. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Jim

The ones with towing package came with the 1-in core. It's a high efficiency radiator.
I've never needed any more than that.

Would this be the correct radiator?

BTW, I found a code for Rock Auto discount - it worked!

You have to take a look. You either one or two cores. Still have the original two core and hoses on the 98. Ford did something right with that system. 370,000 plus miles. Ford bragged about their lifetime hoses at one time. I'm a believer now lol.

Still got my original 2003 ... With the one inch core. At 325k. I thought about replacing it proactively but obviously the plastic side tanks motorcraft used was better than most of what you're probably going to get on the aftermarket for it to last this long.
Radiator hoses are okay..... It was a damn heater core hoses the plastic connectors got weak on and broke. My restrictor was plastic as well and it crumbled easily in the hose.

I did order the radiator, the one I posted. It should be here Thursday. Hope it fits and works right.
