coolant??

Default coolant??

ok last night i notice when i got home my driver side wheel well was wet..pop the hood and notice my coolant thing where u poor coolant in was wet...no signs of leaks! just wet..start the truck and let it run and nothing! hmmmm odd! no idea? any ideas? seems to only do it when driving

Check the water pump, thermostat, intake manifold, coolant resevoir, and coolant hoses for leaks. You can also pressure test the coolant system.

check water pump dry,thermostate..if it was bad it would over heated i drove 40miles today and yesterday.umm so only wet near the reservoir and wheel well.everything else is dry.guess just stuck with the pressure test..umm not sure how to do it! how much psi should it be at?

the system is likely over filled and when it tried to return fluid it pushed it out the top of the reservoir.

you might have an air pocket in the system, causing coolant to spew out of the resevoir. I would drain all of the coolant, refill, set truck on an incline (like on driveway), turn heater on full blast, and bleed the coolant system so you don't have any air pockets.
