Default Constant dinging

My 2001 Screw's 'key is in the ignition' chime won't stop unless the key is in and in the on position. If I take the key out than it dings as long as the driver's door is open. Same as when I'm getting into the truck. Anyone know how to make it stop?

Yeah, my lights are off. I got the truck and it had an aftermarket radio in it and it did it with that one, I just had a new one put in this month (aftermarket double din) and it's still doing it.

There's a good chance that the radio is your problem
. The accessory wire could be being fed Constant 12v meaning one of the wires iis spliced wrong. I somehow managed to do.that when I installed my radio. I had a blown fuse which caused the radio to not work when hooked up properly unless the accessory wire was hooked to 12v constant. This problem could cause you battery drain as well.

Its the sensor for the key in the ignition. Take the lock cylinder out and break off the little piece of metal and it will never chime again.
