I am looking to change out the standard console in my 2000 F150 SuperCab. I believe the Lincoln Navigator console with fit but not sure of the details. If this is possible it must have been done before.

I would like to make functional the HVAC controls in the Nav-console and place a Uniden BC980 SSB CB radio in place of the F150 HVAC controls in the dash. If that is not going to work I will just put the CB in the Nav-console where the HVAC controls are located.

What years will fit my truck? What parts other than the outer shell will I need to make sure I get?

Im pretty sure 1997-2003 consoles are a direct swap. I'm about to do this same swap but I have a bench seat and want an expedition console. Im not sure about the HVAC and cb.

 

Search "expedition console swap", I have done it and many others have. Just need to cut the carpet, tap a couple holes and it bolts in. Not sure about the HVAC though.

 

Thanks for the help. I took a look at your mods... that is beautiful!!! I may take your lead on some of them! I searched expeditioin console swap and it did not bring anything up. I am new to this site so I may have not searched properly. I typed the parameters into the "search" box at the top of the home page and it brought me back to this thread. How do I search?

Thanks a lot! If you go to the bar below the F150 forum logo there should be a search tab. Sounds like your doing that right. Try searching expy swap or expedition console under the 97-03.
