Default Connecting battery with no engine installed

I want to check some circuits under power before installing the new engine and PCM. Does anyone see a problem with connecting a battery to the truck without the engine installed? The original PCM is staying in the truck so it is installed.

Thanks Brew. It's what I figured but there can always be a circuit that involves something I don't know something about or I'm not thinking through. I don't want any unexpected or expensive surprises.

Seems to be the concensus. Just double checking that there isn't some circuit that needs something like a disconnected engine harness ground reconnected before powering the circuit up. The plan is to run both the old PCM and a new harness and PCM also. Thanks.
