I found some nerf bars off a 2009 extended cab f150 and I'm curious if those will directly bolt up onto my 2002 extended cab or if they will with minor modification or will 97-03 be the only compatible years. Thanks

 

It will require minor fab work.... Drill out 4 Rivets that hold the brackets, relocate the brackets, drill holes, re-rivet and put on truck. I did it to mine from a 2010 to my 07 and another set from a 2011 to a 97, my friend owns a shop and people bought after market ones and didn't want there stock ones so we got GREAT deals on them...
