Cold start and dies

Default Cold start and dies

Last couple weeks when I go to start my truck in the morning it atarts and dies. Start it again and it stays running just fine. Any ideas what this is?

The IAC(idle air control valve) may be dirty. Mines been doin the same thing, it doesn't do it every time. I talked to onna the guys I work with, he said to clean it real good and open it up afterwards to blow all the soot and junk out. I'm gonna try it.

IAC or fuel system. Southern already told you about that.

Fuel system may run dry and loose its prime. When you restart, the fuel is now up in the rail. Could be a weak fuel pump, dirty fuel filter, bad regulator valve. It's possible it could be a number of things or something very simple. Do you have any codes setting?
