Question cold or hot engine to remove plugs

97 4.6, w vin, non coil over plug, I am getting ready to pull the plugs on this engine for the first time ever in its life, 83,000 miles . It seems to be a wide variance in removing plugs with engine hot, or removing plugs engine cold. I assume it is because of aluminum head. Previously I have removed plugs in other aluminum heads both cold and warm from hot. Never had a problem either way, but they were not ford engines. Any advise would be appreciated regarding removal. Thank you. :

You take them out hot and you could have galling issues between the aluminum and the steel. this is what f's the threads up on an aluminum head. Just do a quick search for aluminum galling online and you will get the idea.
