cold engine fail to start fine after it fires help
I am about a 100% sure my problem is fuel related.I have to turn a cold engine over for a very long period of time.Once it finally fires it runs fine.It acts like a carburated engine when the primer pump is bad.I assume something in the throttle body is clogged, dirty.or going bad.Any suggestions are appreciated.
no help.IAT did not fix the problem.for 20 bucks figured would go ahead and replace it.still have to turn engine over for long period of time to get it to fire.any help appreciated.when engine is cold my problem exists.once warmed up I have no starting issue.

After driving it for a bit, take the vacuum line off of your fuel pressure regulator. Watch it for a while and see if fuel comes out of the nipple on the regulator. Over time, that diaphragm gets cracks in it, and slowly dumps fuel into the vacuum line. This is not noticeable while driving, but when the motor gets all bled off at once, it creates a "flooding" effect.
