I have two screwed up coils. The 2nd and 3rd one from the front on the driver side have broken bolts,we have the 2nd one seated in well enough for now. The 3rd one the bolt some how broke off in the mounting hole and you can just pull the coil out,any of you guys deal with this before? I don't know how it broke,I wasn't working on anything under the hood and if the previous owner broke it I've been off road enough for it to have bounced out,I've had the truck for a few months now. I have to some how back the bolt out and I'm not really sure how,never had to do anything like that before. Hopefully one of you guys have dealt with this.


I'm taking it to Advanced Auto in the morning to put it on a computer to see what codes it's throwing and just making sure it's the one coil,hopefully it is.

 

Vice grip on the broken bolt. Or weld a nut on if enough it sticking out.
