Default Coil Pack Trouble.

Hey guys i got a '01 f150 7700 series with the 5.4. Today i tried to replace the spark plaugs but i did not get too far. On #1 i removed the coil pack and accidentally knocked a bunch of crud down the shoot on top of the plug. I sucked out the junk with a vaccuum and replaced the coil pack. i figured i should clean the engine a bit before i cause a disaster. I put the pack back on and nothing. Everything in the truck turns on but there is no turn. Battery isnt the issue as i picked up a brand new one today. any help wwill be much obliged!!

Thanks,
Owen

Weird, the engine does or does not turn over ? If it does not crank check out the fat positive running to the starter - pretty common spot to fail.

I would check all the connections going to and around the battery, especially the positive line to the starter (where it connects to the starter especially), makes sense to me because the battery is the only other place that was disturbed recently. I really do not think the coil pack and plug have much to do with a no crank situation.
