codes and problem not matching up??
Same problem different day..... 5.4 F150, 2000 yr model
I can start the truck and it runs perfectly for 10-15 seconds then starts missing..... sometimes?
If it dies, it will start right back up and do the same thing.
It only does it in cold weather (usually below 35 degrees).
If I keep it at a high idle and rev it, the problem goes away. If I don't rev it, it will continue.
Codes come up po 353, 356, 357, 358. Something doesn't add up. This truck has new (used engine) with all new coils and plugs.. BUT it did the same thing with the old engine before it was replaced.
It also sometimes throws codes on different cyl. These happen to be what I read this morning. Today it was 44 degrees and it started and ran fine, no miss.
I'm stumped, got a clue that will help me?? PCM ?? Sensor??
