Default Spark Blow Out ......... Pics Added - Updated.

Okay, I took a look and No. 7 blew the plug out.

As a note: I replaced the coil and plug on 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7. Also, I only did a good hand tighten on the plugs as well as applied a generous amount of antiseize to each plug. So, is it possible that the plug simply worked its way out without stripping the threads?

Should I try and replace with a new coil and plug? Will the plug be easy to pull out if the threads are stripped?

Also, judging from the picture, it looks like a piece of plug may have been chipped off. Not sure, but I will need to inspect closer.

If I don't replace, can I simply unhook the coil (already done), and the fuel sensor and drive the truck to a dealer?

1. sorry, tipically, yes.
2. most time, you can use an helicoil to install/make a new thread ( http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars...repair/4212608 )
3. technically, the truck can drive with less than the 8 cilynders working... not the desirable situation though. if you wont fix it and the dealer will do, check if they can tow it.

Yes it probably took the threads with it. This website should answer most questions:

What type of repair costs am I looking at?

And does the dealer fix using a helical?

****ty man these engines seem to be famous for the ****ing blown plug due to some bad carbon buildup... Go with any of these guy's answers because these is about what I would suggest.

Here are some options:
http://www.denlorstools.com/home/dt1...to_repair.html

per that website, ford suggestion is to replace the head, which is a couple thousand dollars....

another solution is to use the calvan tool 38900, for use by yourself or by a mechanic, is like $250, basically is like a helicoil in steroids.

Amazon Amazon

seems that they had been in the market for quite some time:
