The definition about the brake band, applies to another make of vehicle, not Ford.
Have to be careful about that and specifically specify Ford DTC when looking codes up..
The rough running is some other issue.
Good luck.

I took the battery out back before the cold snap a week ago, gave it a charge inside the house. Put it back in the truck, it starts running rough, inside/interior light stays on for 10-15 minutes. Doors not locking as soon as I drive forward, locking 50 or 500 feet or not at all. Rechecked for p1850 code > gone.
It idles fine but misses bad as soon as I accelerate, fume-E smelling exhaust.

Note: When the system is powered down, all codes are lost, so you cleared the code by removing the Battery.
Also all the variable tables that learn driving info are also reset back to their center value.
This action will affect cold starts and drivability until re-learned or the re-learn cycle is performed.
If there is a hard fault still present, then you have to recognize it as possibility affecting the drivability right from the start.
Good luck.
